On paper, I should stay far, far away from Awful Hospital. But I love it! I think the cartoonishness helps for me? And yeah, like I said, I feel like it's pretty darn wholesome, considering the subject matter. I probably wouldn't have gotten into it if I hadn't started with Bogleech's Pokémon Reviews, and maybe some of his articles on various less-loved animals, though. That probably helped as a gateway.
