Announcement: Upcoming Giveaways

Hello my Queerly Beloveds! It is I, your mod.

This post is just to notify you all that, in celebration of Pride month in the US, I'm planning to do three giveaways!

My plan had been to start today with Dominique Pamplemousse, ending with a drawing on the 10th, but it looks like Squinky is now offering the game for as low as free! (They're point-and-click claymation musical detective game with a nonbinary POC(? I think?) main character with social justice themes.) So I guess I'll just be writing up a more formal rec for that, then!

On top of that, with today running unexpectedly long for me, I'm not going to have any sort of giveaway post ready to go until tomorrow. The first of the three giveaways will probably be for at least one copy of Ana Mardoll's No Man of Woman Born, "a collection of seven fantasy stories in which transgender and nonbinary characters subvert and fulfill gendered prophecies. These prophecies recognize and acknowledge each character's gender, even when others do not." (There's even one with a gender questioning character, and there's an audio version available!)

I still need to come up with some rules for the giveaway, which is why the post isn't going up until tomorrow, but I hope the prize appeals to some of you here!

Current plans for the second slot in the giveaway are five copies of Knit One, Girl Two, and for the third slot, a gift card to NerdyKeppie. But that's a lot of white people, so I will absolutely be accepting suggestions for someone else (or someone in addition!) to the three creators so far mentioned.

Thank you everyone for helping me get this community off to such a great start!
