Congrats on getting started sewing. It's kind of soothing.

I can't really use a sewing machine, although I have one. I like hand-sewing, and I hate cutting from patterns. I made a shift I used as a renaissance underdress and nightgown for more than 10 years. I cried when it finally fell apart. I haven't had the focus to make a new one.
