Thursday Recs

If it's Thursday, it's gotta be Recs time!

Do you have a rec for this week? Just reply to this post with something queer or queer-adjacent (such as, soap made by a queer person that isn't necessarily queer themed) that you'd, well, recommend. Self-recs are welcome, as are recs for fandom-related content!

Or have you tried something that's been recced here? Do you have your own report to share about it? I'd love to hear about it!

Hey, I’m an 2025 Artist in Residence with the Carter/Johnson Library and Collection, which exists to preserve 2SLGBTQ+ and/or leather history. I’m working on a collaborative art/history project that involves 2SLGBTQ+ and/or leather folks sending me a story about one of their memories. Some of those memories will be turned into textile art and put into two books (a fabric book with the actual embroidered artworks, and a companion paper book that will share the original memories, with a picture of the embroidery panel each memory inspired). Would it be okay for me to rec my project and make a post with my Call For Submissions?

Thanks so much! I didn’t want to risk accidentally transgressing by doing it without asking first. :)
