Maybe I should try. I think I have the masa (not sure since I did have to throw a big bag away when I didn't use it in a reasonable amount of time). It wouldn't cost much even if it messed up, I guess.
That and I want to make a sourdough starter. Everything I've read lately says that the pickle jar I really wanted to use is probably too big.
