Identities: Queer is the best fit for me, along a few axes. Bisexual genderqueer, leaning femme. Things change, sometimes hour to hour, but that's the operational baseline. I'm also an ex sex worker, non-contact. I currently don't ID as disabled, but have emerging health issues that I need to come to peace with, not in the least a few decades of internalized ableism that I need to keep working on. Young people, be told - standing next to an amp at metal and punk gigs three times a week for a decade will destroy your hearing, and it will take you ten years to work out you've given yourself industrial level hearing damage. Wear ear protection or at least stand back from the amp. I'm also polyamorous, and a parent of two kids in an unconventional living arrangement. While I'm not going to talk to much about them for the sake of their own privacy, I'm happy to help out in that area if need be. Pregnancy and the queer body is a hard area and I'm comfortable discussing what that meant for me, if need be. Parenting while queer is also uniquely trying at times, especially if you're often taken for someone you are not.

My interests: I'm a professional writer with a fondness for sci fi, speculative fiction and historical writing. Basically I'm interested in everything! I have a particular fondness for mythology, folklore (both traditional and contemporary) and weird, hidden or occluded histories. I also am yet to meet a time and money hungry craft I don't like. I'm a good port of call for fixing and jiggering things, especially clothes and homewares. f you didn't work it out from the metal induced deafness, I like loud, fast hard music, ranging from hard rock through metal and punk, on a case by case basis. I'm also Australian, for what that's worth.
