Hello, everyone! Sorry for disappearing last week, I just managed to completely forget about Thursday Recs for a bit 😅

This week, I am recommending "Good Omens", in pretty much all* of its incarnations: Book, audiobook, radio play, and with special attention to the TV show. While they all have shades of queerness, the first season of the TV show in particular turns it up to eleven with lots of nonbinary characters and what many viewers consider to be a queerplatonic/quasi-platonic relationship between two of the lead characters. As a follow up, the recently released second season full on yanked the knob off in an attempt to turn the queer representation up even higher, several examples of which are major spoilers for the season. Definitely recommended.

Please let me know if you lovely people would like a discussion post about Good Omens! Or heck, start one yourself! It's very relevant to this community's interests.

* The graphic novel is still being Kickstarted at the moment, and so hasn't properly incarnated yet.

Do you have a rec for this week? Just reply to this post with something queer or queer-adjacent (such as, soap made by a queer person that isn't necessarily queer themed) that you'd, well, recommend. Self-recs are welcome, as are recs for fandom-related content!

Or have you tried something that's been recced here? Do you have your own report to share about it? I'd love to hear about it!

Edit: Sounds like a Good Omens discussion post is a go! I think it'd be good if we could keep any further discussion of specifics for that post, especially anything spoilery, so anyone who still hasn't seen it and wants to go in spoiler-free has a better chance of doing that. Thanks!

Edit 2: The official Queerly Beloved Good Omens Discussion Post is now live!
