Thursday Recs
Aug. 11th, 2022 09:08 pmOh right, it's Thursday! I rec things here on Thursday.
This Thursday, I would like to give a solid, two thumbs up to the literal act of sleeping. Sleep is a very neat function of most (all?) life on Earth, and I heartily recommend it, especially those who wish to become less fatigued. In fact, I plan to partake of some myself later tonight! (I am very tired.)
Do you have a rec for this week? Just reply to this post with something queer or queer-adjacent (such as, soap made by a queer person that isn't necessarily queer themed) that you'd, well, recommend. Self-recs are welcome, as are recs for fandom-related content!

Date: 2022-08-14 05:21 am (UTC)Two recs this week! I've just read the first TPB of Heartstopper and it is adorable and easy reading, with most of the unpleasantness (of which there isn't much) happening off screen. And I'm halfway through All Boys Aren't Blue, which is 'a memoir manifesto about growing up black and queer' (in the USA) by George M Johnson, and it is so fabulously written, even though there are a lot of difficult topics being discussed.
