Welcome back to Thursday Recs!

This week I'm dropping a link for Story Bundle's 2023 Pride Collection. This particular bundle is open for the entire month of June, and features a total of seventeen ebooks you can possibly get by donating. Working on a similar model to HumbleBundle, Story Bundle instead gives most of the money from bundle purchases to the authors of the bundled works. This collection is of speculative fiction, featuring all sorts of queer characters and themes. The base bundle is five books, but you get all seventeen if you donate $20 USD or more!

The University of Chicago Press offers a free e-book every month, and this months is Men without Maps: Some Gay Males of the Generation before Stonewall by John Ibson

I haven't read it yet, so can't attest to the quality but seemed like it might be relevant to the interests to this comm!

I have "The Bruising of Qilwa" on my TBR and I'm intrigued by "In the Deep" (did it draw my eye because I regognised the cover art as being from Melissa Capriglione? you can't prove anything.)
