I personally have participated in many fanwork fundraisers in the past, and have always had a wonderful time. If there's a particular queer headcanon you've always wanted to see in a fic or fanart but have never come across, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for! Offering your own services is also a great way to participate, and options are in no way limited to writing or drawing, or even to solely fannish pursuits. I've seen jewelry, linencraft, editing services, recipe collections, monthly letters, and more all go up on offer at previous fandom fundraisers.

There's no obligation to participate, but I thought this might be something that intersected with a lot of our interests here.

I mentioned Introductions as a possible fun thing to do in this community, just to get to know each other or for folks looking to add more people to their reading lists, whatever. Just to get the ball rolling, here's me, and a template for folks to use if they want:

Name: I go by Socchan online
Age: Early thirties
Pronouns: She/her/hers or ey/em/eir; alternating gives me gender euphoria ♥
Identities: Genderflux, bisexual, autochorissexual, neurodivergent (ADHD, anxiety disorder, depression, possible autism spectrum)

My interests: Running a fun queer-positive community with a focus on intersectionality (*wink*), writing, drawing, crochet, other various crafts and creative projects. My current fandom is Miraculous Ladybug, with a side order of Pokémon, though I do occasionally talk about original fiction idea stuff. I also journal a lot about my job (I'm a baker at a hotel), working the Accessibility Department for the local anime con (I could be doing better, I'm afraid), How To Write Stories, and occasionally the family dog (a very charismatic Dachshund named Chester).

Any and all of these fields are completely optional! You could even make a post with just the blank form and all I'd do is have a laugh. You can also lie in any of the fields, just don't be a jerk about it. The template itself is completely optional, as well.

Another fun thing to do might be to fill these out for various characters. Like maybe...
