Me ten minutes ago: Oh shit, it's Thursday! I need to make a rec! And I already used up my "joke" rec two weeks ago!
After some brief mental flailing, this week I'm reccing long-running Yuri review blog Okazu. For twenty-some years, Erica Friedman has been reviewing primarily Japanese media with Yuri (sapphic) themes and content from a Lesbian's perspective. Her tastes don't always align with the mainstream, but she gives solid reviews of what she reads and watches, and is open about her biases. On Wednesdays she frequently has guest reviewers to cover series that she's not personally interested in, or just from a different perspective. I've picked up more than a few titles based on her reviews, including last week's rec, Sex Ed 120%. If it's an anime or manga that might have Yuri in it and you want to know more about it, a quick search on Okazu can often net you some useful insight.
How about you? Do you have a rec for this week? Just reply to this post with something queer or queer-adjacent (such as, soap made by a queer person that isn't necessarily queer themed) that you'd, well, recommend. Self-recs are welcome, as are recs for fandom-related content!
Or have you tried something recced on a previous week? Do you have your own report to share about it? I'd love to hear it!

This was a very interesting video about the Upstairs Lounge tragedy in New Orleans. I'd never heard of it, but it was a very interesting, if tragic and ultimately hopeful, video.
